Hat Band Showcase: The Most Electric, Joyful Show of the Year!
What happens when 50+ musicians—from total beginners to seasoned pros—throw their names and instruments into a hat and form random bands? You get Hat Band, the ultimate musical experiment! After two months of writing, rehearsing, and bonding, these brand-new bands hit the stage to perform a 10-minute set, including an original song.
This show centers Disabled-, female-, POC-, queer-, and trans folx* in a welcoming, no-pressure environment where creativity and community take center stage. And the best part? All proceeds go to Girls Rock! DC, funding music education for the next generation.
Expect surprises, genre-bending performances, and an unforgettable night of music, community, and DIY magic.
